Michelle J. Jacob - Owner/Master Designer
Michelle created and has operated The Distinguishing Touch® Florist since 1984. She has over 20 years of floral design experience and loves to create stunning  arrangements using unique flowers. Her years of design experience and her love of beautiful and unusual flowers enable her to inspire her design team with innovative ideas and techniques.
Over the years Michelle has developed proprietary techniques for preserving flowers. This has allowed her to transform each customer’s floral arrangements into treasured keepsakes.
Michelle was instrumental in creating the New Hampshire State Floral Association and still remains active on the Board of Directors. Michelle recently graduated from the New Hampshire Florist Association's "Master Floral Design School". The advanced floral design class provides specialized knowledge of floral design, coupled with experience in floral mechanics and advanced techniques. By earning the designation of "New Hampshire Master Floral Designer", Michelle has demonstrated her knowledge and understanding of the art of floral compositions and can design with a creative flair.
Michelle is very involved in her church and co-ordinates the activities of St. Jude’s Arts and Environment Committee.
Michelle is very happily married to Rick, her childhood sweetheart, who is the behind the scenes computer guru and in-house photographer. |
